This course is designed to provide college-level instruction on the patterns and processes that impact the way humans understand, use, and change Earth’s surface. You will use geographic models, methods, and tools to examine human social organization and its effect on the world in which we live. You will be challenged to use maps and geographical data to examine spatial patterns and processes and analyze the changing interconnections among people and places.

In this course, you will learn the political concepts, policies, interactions, roles, and behaviors that characterize the constitutional system and political culture of the United States. You will examine core principles, theories, and processes through direct study of U.S. foundational documents and Supreme Court opinions.

As you dive into this interactive online calculus course, you will follow in the footsteps of great mathematicians like Newton and Leibniz. This adventure covers many topics, including limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, differential equations, the applications of derivatives and integrals, parametric and polar equations, and infinite sequences and series. This Advanced Placement (AP) calculus course covers a full year of material equivalent to college-level calculus.

This comprehensive course will help students prepare for and raise their scores on the Digital SAT, building their math, reading, and writing skills and performance. Students begin with a full-length practice test to identify personalized areas to target. From there, they can engage with reading, writing, and math tutorials, each accompanied by a quiz to test mastery.

This course is instructed by the school counselor and is meant to help seniors prepare for graduation and post high school endeavors. Students explore college options, learn how to apply to college, set future goals, and explore careers and financial literacy. Students will also learn about registering to vote, gap year options, and managing stress, anxiety, and depression.

This course leads students through the basic concepts and practices associated with day to day financial living. Students learn sound financial practices for making, saving, and spending money. Students will become familiar with record keeping, banking and investing, and planning for their financial future. Completion of this course provides a solid foundation in basic handling of finances and an understanding of building and implementing a personal budget.

Are you a great listener and love to help people achieve their goals? The role of a peer counselor is a rewarding one. Learn the skills of observation, listening, and empathic communication that counselors need, while also discovering basic training in conflict resolution and group leadership. You’ll learn how to be a great peer counselor, but also how to communicate effectively in personal and work relationships.

Students learn touch-typing skills with proper finger placement, building both accuracy and speed. Students should be able to type all letters and numbers with 80% or better accuracy at 24 wpm by the end of Keyboarding A. Students should achieve 35 wpm at 90% or better accuracy by the end of Keyboarding B, and this includes typing with punctuation marks and capital letters.
