Lexi Hansen is a Christa McAuliffe Academy School of Arts and Sciences (CMASAS) Personalized Education Coach (PEC) and Course Instructor (CI). Lexi graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and an ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement. She is passionate about ESL and the opportunity for children, teens, and adults to have an opportunity to learn English in the US and to have a better chance to thrive. Prior to CMASAS, she taught Family and Consumer Sciences at the Juvenile Detention Center for a year and ESL to adults part time for 16 years, all while raising her four children. She is extremely excited to help students succeed in their goals and aspirations at CMASAS. If she had the choice, she would live at the beach with a continuous sunset. She loves camping, dirt biking, playing games, and traveling with her husband and kids, as well as supporting them in their sports and musical interests. In her spare time, you may find her reading a book or eating chips and salsa.
