Overview

Three credits of Science are required to graduate from CMASAS. These credits must include both a physical and life science credit; and at least two lab credits. For students intending on applying to a public, four-year college or university it is recommended to take Chemistry and/or Physics; and Biology.  Courses not listed as physical, life, or integrated are considered science elective courses.

Some courses provide a physical lab kit for the students. These kits allow students to participate in hands-on labs and are indicated with the "Yes-Kit" designation in the table below. In all other lab courses the student is responsible for obtaining the necessary supplies if needed.
